Dr. Yih Jen (Edwin) Kok is a board-certified cardiologist specializing
in invasive and interventional cardiology, including diagnostic cardiac
catherization, coronary angioplasty, coronary artery stenting, laser angioplasty,
intra-vascular ultrasound, and rotational atherectomy. Dr. Kok also specializes
in non-invasive cardiology, including trans-thoracic echocardiogram, trans-esophegeal
echocardiogram, exercise stress echocardiogram, dobutamine echocardiogram,
and peripheral non-invasive studies (aterial and venous). Dr. Kok is Board
Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases and has over
15 years of cardiology practice experience.
Dr. Kok was the Chief of Cardiology at Garfield Medical Center in 2006
and served as Vice Chief of Medicine at Garfield Medical Center in 2008.
Currently, he is the Chairman of the Medicine Department at Greater El
Monte Community Hospital.
