Garfield Medical Center, along with Stryker, recently hosted a valuable and informative event on how to perform CPR and how to identify stroke symptoms as early as possible. Some of Garfield's most experienced doctors and nurses provided instruction and demonstrations.
For identifying stroke symptoms, attendees were told to remember: BE FAST, which stands for B (balance problems), E (eye focus problems) F (face drooping), A (arm numbness), S (speech difficulties), T (time is of the essence - so move FAST!)
